Inspiring speeches

I use my experience and expertise from a decade working in high performance sport and developing a world leading campaign to optimise support of female athletes, to help women, and those who live and work with them, unlock what it takes for women to Thrive. Here are some examples of my keynote speeches…

Women: Thriving

Described as “Engaging, informative & entertaining! Totally brilliant. An inspiration!” In this talk I explore what it takes for Olympic female athletes to thrive in a high performance environment in order to help all women think about how and what it takes to fulfil their potential, whether it be in sport, business, parenting or life.  This empowering yet playful session can be tailored to be delivered to groups of women, or those who work with, manage or support women within their organisation.

Mind the gap

There is a gender gap in sports science and medicine which has implications ranging from girls participation in physical activity through to elite sporting performance. The tendency to use the ‘default male’ in research means our understanding of women’s health and performance is lagging well behind what we know about men. What can everyone do about it? How important is gender diversity in business to closing the gender gap in data? What does the future look like, in a world with better data equality?

Go girls!

I am passionate about informing and inspiring girls and young women, their parents or those working with them. I’ll provide insight into what’s really going on in puberty for young women and what support we can give them to thrive at this time of life. Girls drop out of physical activity at twice the rate of boys during adolescence. Why? What can we do to ensure that these young women develop a positive lifelong relationship with movement and activity?
